Apparatix is an enterprise B2B application serving every aspect of an Out-of-Home operator’s business. After spearheading a campaign to modernize the UI/UX, I set about redesigning the product and refining the brand to match.
Over time, the application had become fractured from specialty client requests and a “verb first” approach to functionality, resulting in 260+ unique screens. Through methodical research, prototyping, and user validation, that number was reduced to a universal set of 25 with swappable components.
Apparatix was also interested in revamping their legacy branding, but wanted to maintain the allusion to a capital A. In turn, I developed a brand mark that infused an automation metaphor to promote their AI integrations.
